SCENES THAT KICK ASS #8: STEP UP 2 THE STREETS
It’s time for a new entry into the pantheon of scenes that KICK ASS. The theory behind this post is this…
Some movies have a scene in them that is so awesome it can make the whole film worth watching. A scene that can make a bad film good and a great film better. A scene so good that it KICKS ASS… hence the title of the post. That has never been more true than this week. This week, we are featuring a clip from the movie:
As bad as Step Up 3D may be, I’ve yet to see it but I will, I thought a reminder as to why the first 2 were so good was in order. Here ya go:

Ahaha Kai. They should have cut that dialogue at the beginning, it just made me start laughing uncontrollably.
Only saw the first Step Up but it’s obvious that they really pushed the concept to the edge, something that I’m not too keen of. At least in the first Step Up, it was only limited to the two leads…

Ooh and Tatum makes an appearance early on and does a cool little dance of his own!

I know! The same thing happened with me Castor! I also only saw the first one.

Only made it 1:19 into that. I’d rather chew aluminum foil than watch the rest of that clip. Ghastly.

I’m with Angie here. I just could not get through that entire clip! Icky-poo! The entire 2 minutes I kept hoping zombies would show up.

I’m a fan of dance, and I mean a huge fan Kai, and that rain sequence wasn’t horrible, but I couldn’t sit through an entire movie for invertant dance scenes, the first one was barely watching and it had Channing Tatum’s meat-head for me to drool over, I’ve got nothing for this one. 🙂

I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. So much so, that I went along to see the third one in the franchise, which was sooo bad.
